The on-line sign-up form for Limited Attendance Classes and Tours will be open between April and May 2021. The link to the Limited Registration form will be sent out in an email in April 2021 with the subject line “Costume College 2021 Registration Packet”.
The order in which the forms are received does not impact priority. To be equitable as possible and level the geographic playing field we will compile the forms after the deadline and do a “random drawing” to assign a priority number. Then we try to place everyone into one of their choices for their first Limited Attendance class or tour. After everyone has been placed into a class or tour, we will jumble up all the submission and do another “random drawing” (so if you were at the end of the line the first time, you have another change to be at the front of the line) and try to place everyone into one of their choices for their second Limited Attendance class or tour…and do it again, for a third Limited Attendance class or tour, and so on until all the seats are filled.
We believe that this method will give the students (whatever country or time zone they are in) the opportunity to take their time and enjoy considering which classes and/or tours they would most like to try for–and allow them to change their minds up to the final deadline.
Members of Costume College who requested paper forms will receive their packets via physical mail with the link to the online Limited Attendance submission form, as well as a paper form that you may mail in.
