Election: All candidates who wished to be on the ballots should have turned their 100-word statement in to any board member by now, but that doesn’t mean you can’t run for a board position! All positions, with the exception of the President are up for election this year. We need you!

Absentee Ballots can be mailed, according to the directions found on the ballot instructions, to the CGW Parliamentarian, Kerry Wolf, at 3620 Moreno Ave. #64, La Verne, CA 91750 via U.S. postal service. They must be received no later than September 23, 2016 to be counted in this election. Or they may be brought to the Annual Meeting.

Please mail Absentee Ballots to: CGW Parliamentarian Kerry Wolf at 3620 Moreno Ave. #64, La Verne, CA 91750

During the meeting, candidates will be given the opportunity to make a short statement, and we will have a Q&A with them, as well.

Fashion Show: What have you done with the costume components you have made or purchased at Costume College or CGW sponsored workshops. Perhaps you have finally completed the parasol started in Lynn Masters and Maegen Hensley’s workshop at Coco 2015, or the Fall Front breeches from Mary Johns’ class several years back. Have you purchased a Mela or Straw Benders hat, a peacock feather fan, a lovely bit of trim, unique buttons, a corset, or steam punk themed weapon in the Costume College market place? Have you made an entire outfit to complement your project? Or was it the perfect accessory for one of your existing costumes? If so, we are providing the opportunity to show off your creativity. If you would like to opportunity to share your finished outfit please email Eileen Smolenski at
