1pm – Begin Annual Meeting of CGW membership
3pm – Candidate Q&A and Election for 2018-2019 Board.

Lecture: Kevin Jones, FIDM Gallery Curator and friend of CGW is honoring our group with a lecture! What a great opportunity! Don’t miss out.

Exhibit: We are planning an exhibit themed around “CGW Creates”. Please bring clothing, accessories and items you finished in any of the CGW workshops and events we’ve had over the last year, including the Titanic and 18th century series workshops and Costume College. If you want to share your creation, email Eileen Smolenski to reserve your spot! smolenskie at yahoo.com.

Election: Elections for the 2018-2019 CGW Board of Directors will be held at the meeting.  All current candidate statements are printed on the website, but that doesn’t mean you can’t run for a board position. All positions, with the exception of Treasurer, are up for election this year. More information can be found on the “About Us” button, or here.

Raffle: We are raffling three fantastic prizes! You get a raffle ticket for attending the social, a raffle ticket for participating in the exhibit and a final possible raffle ticket for voting! The winners will be drawn during the vote counting. They’ll be a box for each item, and you can split your raffles tickets anyway you wish.
• A Baby Lock BL9 sewing machine with free arm sewing, 4-step buttonhole, blind stitch hemming, zig-zag, tricot stitch, triple stitch for reinforced seams, and 6 stretch stitches. Lightly used over the course of Costume College 2018 weekend
• Costume College 2019 Tuition! You’ll still need to pay for your limited classes and tea & gala tickets, but we’ll cover your base tuition. This is non-transferable, but can be used for either 2019 or 2020.
• A $100 gift certificate for Atelier Mela, usable at Costume College 2019 or 2020, donated by Mela Hoyt-Heydon.
